That is on my todo list for 1.5. According to my friends that seems to be the usual answer when someone asks for some not yet supported feature. ;-) The supported paper sizes should a property of the textclass and it should be defined there. As an workaround you can pass 14pt in Layout->Document->Options as long as you keep the paper size as default...
