Good question! Nothing in this case. But when you use subfigure with
tocloft you have to call it out as an option in the tocloft package
declaration (\usepackage[subfigure]{tocloft}), so when I went back to a
prev. file to double-check the package name I saw (and wrote) the name
"tocloft". Just today I realized what I had done... :-(
