Abdelrazak, Thank you for the offer: I can wait until it's merged with the main development tree. Just take your time to better your work. The new toolkit, I believe, *potentially* has several advantages over QT/Win Free 3.3.5 and therefore it's more attracting to me. On the other hand, it seems that the release is pretty close and therefore I won't wait too long :). I'll investigate the source code then.
I have no criticism about neither LyX developers nor LyX community. I understand many people here work on Linux and lyX also started and evolved on that platform first. Naturally this causes different choices and opinions. That's just fine, I have no complaints. But as LyX is open source, I'm determined to cahnge my copy to my taste :). This also gives me a chance to better understand LyX internals.
