Lyx, I get the error-window "Error with reading the configuration file
lyxrc.defaults. Please check your installation". It seems, that the
installation is uncomplete.
What is the problem? How can I get lyx running?
After installing the software, the installer tries to run the
configuration script, and it appears that has failed. The first
question is, do you have MinSYS installed, and did the installer find
it? (The installer tells you for each essential package whether it
found it or not; if not, it gives you the option to download the
package. You have to install the downloaded packages yourself, though.)
