In fact, AFPL gs and gsview *are* in the protext bundle:
->unzip -l protext.exe | grep -i gsv
      0  10-14-05  12:29   gsv/
9713152  12-02-04  15:40   gsv/gs815w32.exe
1518080  10-14-05  12:19   gsv/gsv47w32.exe
but the gs version is quite outdated.

Now I see that the current version numbers of AFPL and GPL ghostscripts are the
same (8.54).
If that means that they have achieved the same level of maturity, it would be
of course
advisable to replace AFPL by GPL to have an homogeneous installation from the
licensing
point of view.

Good news!!! Older versions of GPL Ghostscript were on the level of one year old AFPL Ghostscript versions. I'll immediately switch to the GPL version. Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately GSview is still only available under the AFPL.

thanks and regards
