That is a very good question and one that I'd really appreciate some useful tips on.

The question still remains:

        How can we make it easier to find information on the wiki?

Don't be afraid to make suggestions that require changing the structure.
Or how the software operates for that matter.

PS. As far as I'm concerned it is perfectly fine to require LyX users to read a certain amount of documentation. However, finding what you are looking for should be much easier than it is right now.
