The Only Way is via LaTeX: you convert your MSWord document to LaTeX (via rtf2latex, OpenDocument, or the MSWord plugin Word2TeX, or any other way you like), and then import to LyX via tex2lyx. More info in CTAN http://www.tug.org/utilities/texconv/pctotex.html Luis.
