Hi, I once succeeded on using the recommended method: insert JabRef bib file, and then insert Citation, and then I see a very conveninent list of citations to choose from. However it only works for a while, and I am not able to see the list of citations any more. Any hints?
Thanks. Michael On 7/17/06, Nicolás <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi! I use Jabref with Lyx, but I do not push citations into Lyx from Jabref (so I cannot help you with that). I do not really see the usefulness of doing that (but maybe it is useful for other people). Instead, I insert in my document a Bibtex Bibliograpgy element (Insert->List/TOC->Bibtex Bibliograpgy) and add the .bib file generated by Jabref as the database for the Bibtex's bibliography. Then I just need to use Insert(ALT+i)->Citation(c) to insert any reference I want. Hope this can help you. I'm using LyX 1.4.1 for Windows, and just installed JabRef 2.0.1. I get an error msg about lyxpipe not working when trying to push the citations. > > Many thanks on this... > Denis >
