Actually, it's the first misspelled *word* that's skipped, not an entire paragraph. Try putting a few more errors in the first paragraph to test this.
Has this bug in the new LyX version been corrected?
Yes. Versions 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 check the document correctly. Cheers, Paul
