Hi, I have come accross some annoying bugs in writing Hebrew documents. I am using lyx 1.4.3-4 on Windows.
1. Inside a figure float, when writing a hebrew caption, the "Figure #" comes out on the written text (in the lyx display, not on the DVI), so nothing can be understood from the caption. 2. In writing mixed Hebrew English, lyx has trouble understanding when to switch, for example, writing a Hebrew paragraph and stating a number with the English units cm^-1 (the ^-1 is in math mode) is IMPOSSIBLE - the math equation places itself on the left of the numbers. The only working solutions are either to write the entire phrase "345 cm^-1" in an entirely new English paragraph, going back a line and pressing DEL to remove the Enter, or writing the entire thing inside the math equation, taking care of italics and roman fonts (a little tedious). 3. If you move with the arrows forward or backward in the text, the cursor may get stuck inside a math formula and will not go on... This does not happen in an English paragraph, unless (see #4). 4. When I wanted to check item 3 above in an entirely English document, I wrote cm^-1 (the ^-1 in math), and then moving the cursor across the line made the formula disappear!!!. It isn't shown on the display anymore. I have used lyx mostly for English documents, but I have used lyx in Hebrew before in previous versions (1.3.x) and I don't remember these problems.
