I submitted a bug report on that... Same was confirmed by a german user. I _can_ compose in most any program - as diverse as OpenOffice, Abiword, rxvt, joe, etc - but not in LyX or nEdit. I simply can't use LyX anymore for my international documents. I'd love to find a solution... John
