I encountered and reported a similar problem recently - probably you installed
"for all users", right? If that is the same bug, please try the following:
- unistall the spell checkers
- uninstall LyX (but leave ImageMagick and MikTeX as is)
- reboot
- run the installer again, but now chose "for current user only" on all
occurences where you are given the choice
