helo lyxers, i start thinking about making small bilingual booklet (text+translation). has anybody tried something similar using lyx ? afaik this involves solving these problems:
1. How to synchronize paragraphs the pagination of paragraphs on the left(odd) and right(even) pages should correspond to each other and it should be done automaticaly. 2. Numbering There should be numbering of paragraphs (not lines) in the margin. 3. Encoding problems Input is given in european western encoding(german) and eastern(czech). Dont know whether lyx/latex get confused when mixing these encodings. is this somehow attainable through lyx or should i swith to latex ? till know i googled some hints to use ledmac, ledpar and ledarab latex packages, but i havent dig into it yet. thank for any tips and advices pavel
