Using a \boxed equation within a AMS multline environment

Hi,

I am trying to put a box around an entire equation written in the AMS  
multline environment.  Any hints on how I can do that within LyX?  By  
using the \boxed command, I am only able to put a box around each  
line of a multi-line equation, but not around the entire equation.   
Any help would be appreciated.
