Awesome! Quick and easy and not too hackish! Any chance we'll get this
without the hack in LyX 1.5.0? Doesn't seem like it would be that hard
to implement.

Put an empty ERT in the line with "1." It won't appear correctly
within LyX, but it will typeset how you want.
