Hello,

I don't create Beamer presentations often, so I would like to know if
workout/fixes have been found for 2 problems since last time I used it.

(1) Can we have a logo on the top instead of at the bottom as seems to
be the default with \logo?

This is controlled by the theme (specifically, the outer theme). So your two choices are to switch to a theme that puts the logo at the top by default, or hack one of the outer theme files to reposition the logo.

(2) Can movies in pdf be run "inline" for lack of a better word? I
mean that a separate window does not have to come up.

Theoretically, they run within the viewer by default (unless you add the externalviewer option), *provided* that your viewer knows how to display a movie. I say "theoretically" because I've been unable to get Beamer to show movie files. I'm pretty sure it's user error, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
