Proper hyperref support is high on the list.
What's improper about it now? It looks pretty good to me. Of course I must use pdflatex, but from the Wikipedia page it seems that's a shortcoming with latex to dvi conversion, so it's beyond the power of LyX to fix (I'm a poet and I do know it!)
It'd be nice, for one thing, if the URL/name business that works in DocBook worked natively in LyX, so you could do \href{url}{text} using the URL dialog. There are other issues. See the bugs linked through the mentioned meta-bug.
