Hi Mike, as you wrote the chapter about initials in the extended user guide, you can certainly help me. I attach two files with initials. Initialen.lyx has 3 examples, but only the one that uses bigdrop looks o.k. The second file is an example from a LaTeX-book which I imported. It uses dropping and looks good. Do you have any idea, why dropping doesn't work in Initialen.lyx? -- Viele Grüße, Hartmut
