        I think, although I am not sure, that pdflatex can't read (e)ps files. 
Try to 
use JPG, PNG or GIF(?) figures instead.

        Altenatively, you can use this workaround:

        I haven't tried it, so I can't guarantee success, but it's a starting 
point.
