symbols not rendered properly

Hi:

Using 1.5.0rc1 in Windows I found the following strange behavior. In  
math mode the symbols \neq and \notin are rendered properly when you  
click or type them. But as soon as I leave the math mode, they become  
rendered as /= and //in
In spite of this, they are correctly exported to plain LaTeX, so it  
seems to be just a problem of renderization. Any ideas?
