No, but I have
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\LyX, which
has DisplayVersion=1.5svn20070531 and points to the rc1 uninstaller.

This is a sign that you used not LyXWinInstaller "1.5rc1-31-05-2007" for
your actual installation.
That seems to be true, though I was *sure* that I used it. I checked my
files and found the installation file named "LyX-1.5.0rc1-Installer.exe"
-- yours should be named "LyXWin150svn...-3-16.exe" or similar I think.
So it was just my corrupt memory that was the problem. I'm sorry.
