so it should be able to find it. Was there some decision not to use dvi
previewing? I know that some graphics did not show up on xdvi, but the
text was much cleaner (under linux) than pdf previews, and ps previews
seems to be overkill.
Or, did I just have some bad configuration somewhere? I built it
directly from the source on lyx.org. Machine: debian sid x86.
What does Tools -> Preferences... -> File formats -> DVI show in the
Viewer entry?
