Hi!

In my machine, when I write \overset{def}{=} in math mode, the preview is not the expected one: the upper bar of the '=' symbol overlaps with the word 'def' 8see attached picture). Uwe does not have this problem with his installation, however. Could anyone check if this is a bug of v1.5.0rc2 or an isolated problem that affects only to me? (In v1.4.4 everything was ok)

It's a font issue, I think. I can reproduce what you get with 1.5.0rc2, and I can confirm that 1.4.4 does not have a problem. (This is all on Win XP.) Notice, though, that the "f" in "def" has a descender in your 1.5.0rc2 screen shot, and does not in 1.4.4. On my system 1.4.4 uses Arial | MS Sans Serif | Courier New as screen fonts, whereas out of the (virtual) box 1.5.0rc2 uses Times New Roman | Arial | Courier New. If I change the 1.5.0rc2 screen fonts to the 1.4.4 screen fonts, 1.5.0rc2 displays what 1.4.4 does.
