Probably someone will give you a package to enable that, but in case not, you
can always do what I do. I make the entire frontmatter as a combonation of
ERT and custom styles, enabling me to do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING I want in the
frontmatter.

My philosophy is that styles based authoring (in other words, WYSIWYM -- LyX
philosophy), is necessary and desireable for long documents where consistancy
is essential. My philosophy is that every book's frontmatter is a "one off"
production that can be, and should be, hand-tweaked to produce the desired
appearance and pagination. My experience is that making the entire
frontmatter hand-tweaked LaTeX and styles is much quicker, and gives a much
finer control of my frontmatter.

Once into the mainmatter, I almost never insert ERT, but instead create styles
to map function to that function's desired appearance. That makes my
frontmatter very consistent throughout.
