since I re-installed the whole system (WinXP) with LyX 1.4.x/1.5 lately I have a problem using the pdflatex output option: Acrobat often crashes, seemingly when pdfopen.exe tries to display the latest .pdf. Also, not only the latest version is shown, but often older versions of the same file are opened in Acrobat, so that multiple files are shown at the same time.
I suspect that openpdf's logic is not compatible to my Acrobat's settings (v7, btw).
Is there a way to avoid pdfopen, or to get this straight? I don't need openpdf's special functionality...
