I have a suggestion that's a kludge for the time you're authoring the
document. You'd obviously back out the kludge just before printing the final
thing:
Part Kludge
Chapter* Prologue
Part Theory
Chapter Something
Section Something
Subsection Something
Chapter Anything
Section Anything
Part Practise
Chapter Nothing
