Lyx, AGU, LaTeX export

I just installed the Ubuntu fiesty .deb version of the new (1.5.1) lyx 
to give it a try.

I am sure this is a real noob question for lyx users, but how do I get 
export to LaTeX working for the AGU class? If I look at the export menu 
I have loads of options (e.g. various CJK lyx, pdf, ps, plain text), but 
no LaTeX. With other templates (e.g. elsart) the LaTeX export works fine.

And by the way, where are the plain old article/report templates?

I'm using texlive, and lyx1.5.1. Thanks for any tips.
