Thank you all so much! I was almost giving up and returning to manual bibliography building! After so much time spent on getting these tools working together, it would be really frustrating.

The apacite user manual contains some discussion of listing URLs (specifically, whether line breaks are handled to APA specifications, and the relative merits of \href v. \url). You might also want to look at

http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=citeURL

for a suggestion about how/where to list web pages.

The link you provided, Paul, had the solution: I'm now using the "Misc" entry type, on JabRef, and using the "howpublished" field to store the URL. Like that, the apacitex bibtex style seems to be able to integrate the URL in the printed bibliographic reference!

Where may I find the apacite or the apacitex manual that you mentioned?

Thanks again,

Roberto
