Hello,

I am making a beamer presentation using lyx. I am trying to add a figure
to a frame, a graph for example. I have converted it to eps. Then I
tryied adding via the option Insert>Float>Figure and typinf the adress
to the figure which is in my /home/lucas directory. Then I generated the
pdf via pdflatex and the figure isn't shown in the pdf. I also tryied
Insert>Graphics option and I got the same result.

I really need this help because if I can't add this figure I will have
redo everything I have already done (20 slides) to oo.org impress and
that will be a total waste of time.

Please help me!
Thank you!

I don't think it's a good idea to use a float (and in fact I don't know if Beamer will let you). The purpose of a float is to let LaTeX position the figure where it fits best. In a slide show, when I put in a figure, I want the figure to go exactly where I put it, not maybe there, maybe the next slide, maybe somewhere else.

Insert -> Graphics works fine with Beamer. You insert the graphic inset directly in the body of a frame. If it does not work for you, post a small example that fails here.
