Hi,

I installed Lyx 1.5.2 with qt-x11-opensource-src-4.3.2
in Linux. Every time I run lyx, it shows me this
message:

> LyX: reconfiguring user directory
checking for a Latex2e program...
+checking for "pplatex"... no
+checking for "latex"... yes
checking for a Tgif viewer and editor...
+checking for "tgif"... no

.... it goes on and on and ends with

Checking whether TeX allows spaces in file names...
Traceback (most recent call last):

    if 'working' in latex_out:

operand
LyX: Done!

What should I do to suppress it and avoid the error?

Thank you.
