I'm using the article(SIAM) document class with Lyx 1.5.1 (the package from Ubuntu 7.10). It doesn't seem to be working correctly.

When I write something in the Theorem environment or in the Proof environment, it doesn't actually show this in any output. Theorems are not labeled in output PDF files, and I exported latex and looked at that, and there are no \begin{Theorem} \end{Theorem} statements. The document otherwise looks otherwise looks like a SIAM article. Also, in terms of my latex installation being the issue: if I manually add in \begin{Theorem} \end{Theorem} and \begin{Proof} \end{Proof} to the exported latex and then compile the out, it works fine.

Can anyone please see if this document class is working correctly for them?
