Dear Stefano,
Could you please tell what document class you are using. In "book" this is
exactly the case: Chapter 1.
(Document settings can be seen by view->source->complete source; there is
something like
\documentclass[oneside,english]{book}
where "book" is the style.)
I assume that your class is different, but perhaps the easiest way is to change
the document class itself through "Document settings" menu.
