I don't have Vista64 and also don't know anybody where I can test this. Me was reported that it
works with Vista 32bit. But anyway, let's try to find the problem:
What is the path to your temp directory? Could you make screenshots of the appearing error
messages/dialogs?
Could you please start LyX by directly accessing the lyx.exe using this command
lyx -dbg file
Then LyX is started with a console window. Press the PDF view button and send me please the console
output of this operation.
