Hm it seems that I cannot include a pdf file even though it get shown in the pdfpreview. I get the error:
"Error converting to loadable format" in LyX. When I press the edit button after clicking on the float I get: No information for editing PDF (ps2pdf) Is it not possible to include PDF in LyX files?
