Hello,

I've looked around and learned that there is an incompatibility between the 'listings' and the 'babel' package. A sort of fix to avoid the LAtex error message I was speaking in my previous message is to load the 'listings' package before the 'babel' one, like reported here :
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=373605#42

But, I've found that for me the fix is the exact opposit : loading the 'babel' then after the 'listings' package fix the problem. Well??...

So, the better solution I've found with Lyx for now is to desactivate the 'babel' package!

Hello,

I'm using the 'code listing' box and found some random unpredictable error message while generating the document to DVI, PS or PDF.
The Latex messages are some of the following :
Incomplete \iffalse: all text was ignored after line 1000
Forbidden control sequence found while scanning text of \write.

I've looked at the Latex inline viewer but didn't found anything suspect. The problem is anoying because when this happen you dont know which code listing box is wrong and the culprit box is not always the latest edited and it end with using verbatim,...

I'm using Lyx 1.5.3 on ubuntu 7.10, Lyx is version 3.141592.
