Hello. I recently installed LyX 1.5.5, updating from 1.3. I am using
LyX to write my dissertation. Footnotes are to be numbered
consecutively through the document, and indeed the output in 1.3 did
this. Now, however, LyX renumbered the footnotes, beginning again with
footnote 1, where a new chapter begins.
