export to latex(plain) not working in lyx1.6.0Beta4

Hi,

I am using Lyx 1.6.0Beta4.
I tried to export my Lyx file to latex(plain). But I don't see anything 
happening.
Neither an error message nor any output.
Any comment from Lyx developers
