LyX/Mac 1.6.0rc1, the Mac OS X version of LyX, has now been released and
can be found here:

LyX 1.6rc1 is not a stable release! That means it is stable enough for
testing, but expect inconsistencies and regressions. This preview
release is built for interested LyX users who want to test the new
features of LyX. We advise to backup your files and not to use this
version for anything else but testing.
