I have in my layout extensions definitions for "Dense" versions of Enumerate, Itemize, and Description. They work well with the KOMA classes, I cannot tell about memoire. Another point is that the vertical space between items is too big if you set the paragraph separator to "Vertical Space" in Document>Settings. So applying the workaround in http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4796 might help in this case. Günter
