Check the attached file. If I remove the itemize environment or the
figure environment, the resulting lyx file is read perfectly. If both
are left untouched, the resulting lyx file is unreadable. Tweaking a
little more I can see that if I leave only the itemize environment,
the imported lyx file puts everything after the first
"\begin{verbatim}" inside an equation environment. Maybe this equation
environment is too big to be read by lyx and that makes it crash.

So, the problem lies in the conversion of the block

\begin{itemize}

\item

b

\item
a \begin{verbatim} $src set packetSize_ 100000 \end{verbatim}

after the command \begin{verbatim} src [new Agent/UDP]\end{verbatim}

\end{itemize}


Try to replicate the problem an let me know to file a bug in bugzilla.
