Thanks - I found the package "fixfoot" (http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/fixfoot/), but when I use it in LyX, the footnote appears as often as the defined fixed footnote is used on the page. I use \usepackage{fixfoot} \DeclareFixedFootnote{\Test}{This is a test!} in the preamble, and in the text \Test in an ERT box. I assume it is because more then one run of LaTeX is needed for fixfoot. Any ideas on how I can achieve this or is there another package I did not find? Rainer > > rh > > -- Rainer M. Krug, PhD (Conservation Ecology, SUN), MSc (Conservation Biology, UCT), Dipl. Phys.
