this does not happen always, i note that it only happens when i put footnote
in a word that is in the last two lines of the page.
I guess I'm puzzled what else you would expect. LaTeX is unable to put
the whole text of the footnote on the page where the footnote number
occurs, so it moves the rest to the next page. LaTeX has deemed this
preferable to breaking the page early.
