I´ve tried several times now to use XeTex and followed the
instructions

But I just get as far as "you should find a new item under the View
menu",
which never appears. What could that be, what is the problem?
That´s why I thought that I would have to update XeTex.
Did you check the "Document format" box when creating the xetex file
format? The wiki says to do that for 1.5, but it should say 1.5 *or
later*. (I've updated the wiki.)
No, I didn´t do that before. Thanks a lot – now it works!
