Hi! I can't seem to find the way to get _one_ numbering of footnotes for the whole document (class book-KOMA Script) and not a per-chapter numbering, as it is the default in this document class.
I've found some pointers on the web (in german language) suggesting to use "footmisc" [1] [2] but I can't get it working. Is it really that difficult?
