Well, I didn't try with other another wiondow manager because I have not found 
out how to reproduce the crash. As I said, it keeps happening, but it is (so 
far) unpredictable. However, it is not limited to KDE 4.2. I just upgraded 
from 4.1 and I have been having this problem for several weeks. it may be KDE 
4.x related, though.
