Hi all,
My wife Lena is currently writing her master thesis in LyX, and
especially the linguistics module is very helful and makes a lot of
things very simple to achieve. Thanks to the creators of this module for
their work (Jürgen Spitzmüller and the others)!
We have one question which is perhaps relatively easy to answer:
In the "example" environment (which comes from covington.sty, I think),
there is pretty much line space between the examle title and what we put
in the example. Here's some sample LyX code:
\begin{example}
\label{exa:popish kiwor}popish kiwor%
\begin{linggloss}
po-pi-sh kiwor
one-CLF:long\&thin-one snake
\glt eine Schlange
\end{linggloss}
DC-081114L
\end{example}
I put a screenshot of the output here:

For our taste, there's too much space between "popish kiwor" and the
beginning of the glosse. The same holds for the space between "eine
Schlange" and "DC-081114L".
Does anybody have an idea how to reduce this space? I tried editing
linguistics.module in the "Resources\layouts" folder, but had no success.
Many thanks in advance!
David
