In my view, a note inset would even do better: While both will keep the Environment open in LyX, the LyX-note shows that this is a something to solve a LyX specific problem that is not related to raw LaTeX. (You can even write this into the note.) For me this little change makes the difference between an "evil" hack and an acceptable workaround. Günter
