when the lyx makes a copy in PDF?. I am writting my thesis with class
document book(more font sizes).
Use the menu "Document->Settings->Page style".
The dialog box has a dropdown list for page styles. It defaults to
"standard", which gives you the top texts you don't want.
Select "plain" to get only the page number, select "empty" to get
nothing extra at all.
