Hi,
typing a bilingual Arabic-English doc I am having the problem that the
curser is running away from the Arabic text to the right - the more to
right the longer the Arabic text.
This does not happen after switsching to English: The curser is
expected to be next to the letter which was last entered. In the
Arabic mode the letters do not show up next to the curser which runs
away to the right when hitting a couple of Arabic letters.
The following configuration is set as recommended in
http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/Arabic:
General prefs:
- keyboard table 1: Arabic
- keyboard table 2: German
BTW: Neither can be deleted, cf. http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/6119
- RTL activated
Document prefs:
- doc class: article (Arabic)
- language: English & Arabic (CP 1256)
- preamble: \usepackage{arabtex}
Using LyX 1.6.3 on WinVista.
