I'm trying to use BibLaTeX with Lyx (using XeTeX and the Memoir Class) as
specified in the wiki, but I am having problems that, even after spending
hours trawling through the mailing list, I find no solution for.
I believe I have configured everything correctly, but I think the problem is
that biblatex cannot seem to find my bibliography.

I believe I am using the right preamble material...

\usepackage[citestyle=verbose-trad2]{biblatex}

\bibliography{/Users/xxx/Desktop/THESIS/CENTRAL BIB/CENTRAL BIB}

This is an absolute path, yes?

(I have also tried positioning the bib within my local texmf tree to no
avail).

And yet when I compile the document, the citation remains simply as the
citekey and the bibliography remains empty. I am sure that I have got the
path absolutely right, and I have not introduced any fancy stuff before or
after the citation.

In the latex log I find that the following...:

 LaTeX Warning: Citation 'Aristotle:1893p408' on page 12 undefined on input
